Massive fail

I was disappointed which pretty much ever major category.  Mainly, Mickey Rourke getting robbed.  I think Tomei got robbed as well, though, I've not actually seen Vicky Christina Barcelona...  I agree with Best Picture (choosing from the nominees, at least.  Slumdog's my #3 of 2008), but I think Nolan should have gotten nominated and subsequently won Best Director over Boyle.  All the foreign language films were pretty average, imo, besides Waltz with Bashir, which I have no interest in anyways because 1) not into war films, much less documentaries, and 2) I dont' really like the animation style.  Hellboy 2 should've won Best Make-up.  Wall-E had no competition, so I agree there.

I think the highlight of the show was The Pineapple Express skit, when it showed Franco making out with Penn.  Also, Ben Stiller's skit was pretty funny as well.  And Natalie Portman was smokin'.
